Dear Martha,

The other day I folded some boxes for storing exquisite chocolate for a going away present. It hit me that there’s actually a whole science behind folding: the Japanese art of origami. So I went out at the Internet to search for some inspiration, and found a whole lot of origami.

It’s huge! I got the impression that there’s more clubs and society on the net regarding origami, than for big interests like hunting, bridge or meditation. There’s a whole secret, underground sub culture out there with people sitting in their homes folding thing. Amazing.

My favorite origamies are the Star Wars inspired, like this one, but the dresses and accessories speak to my girlie side, so I kind of like them too.
