Dear Martha,

During December I burnt all my candles during dark winter night.

Irritatingly, some of them left candle-grease in the bottom of the candle, unable to burn.

So I collected all candle-grease, headed with stearin from the hobby store over boiling water and made new candles.

It wasn’t that hard! But be careful with the hot stearin – if can really destroy clothes and your zink.
