Dear Martha,

The other day I found an apricot colored tassel in my ribbon box. I know I bought it for some kind of craft a while ago, I just can’t figure out for what.

Anyway, the color kind of reminded me of the 1920´s flapper girl, and since I had a loooong, black necklace lying around, I thought I could pimp it in flapper style. Hence, I sew the tassel onto the necklace and voilá! A flapper girl necklace.

Sometimes crafting doesn’t have to take that long (or takes a lot of material shopping).
