With 15-20° C the last couple of weeks, spring has finally came to Stockholm, Sweden. And I really mean it – finall

Although there are still frost nights, I’ve planted most of my spring and summer plats at my balcony. This year I went for violets and a potato tree (love having an actual – and private – tree outside my living room!).

I’ve also spent some money on seeds this spring. Since last summer’s pea success, I’m going for a full plot of vegetables this year.

It really applies to the time. I read in the newspaper that the world’s largest seed company, W. Atlee Burpee, launches Money Garden this spring, a seed mixture that’ll give you tomatoes, beans, carrots, peppercorn and lettuce for the amount of 650 dollar.

Good for your health and economy! Plus, it’s ecological (unless you have an evil neighbor that just loves to try out his new noxious animal poison at your backyard).
